Rehearsals

We rehearse on Thursdays.
Prep Choir (K-1st) ~ 2:00-2:45 (directed by Karen Duval)

Prep Choir II (2nd-3rd) ~ 2:45-3:30 (directed by Karen Duval)
Intermediate Choir (4th-6th) ~ 1:00-1:45 (directed by Jana Tollefson)
Concert Choir (7th-12th) ~ 2:00-3:30 (directed by Jana Tollefson)
Ensemble ~ 1:00-1:45 (directed by Rochelle Collingsworth)


We rehearse at Asbury Methodist Church located at 6767 South Mingo (behind Mardel).  Please use the northeast entrance of the church. 

Please be respectful of the church hosting us and the time given to rehearsal.  The number to call for questions regarding rehearsals is 724-9301.

*If Tulsa Public Schools close due to bad weather, the choir will not meet.

Perfect Attendance!

Incentives will be awarded to every child with perfect attendance (rehearsals and performances) for the year.


Attire:

Please exercise modesty when dressing for choir rehearsals.
Refrain from bare midriffs and short shorts or skirts.


Code of Conduct:

  1. Every member of the choir must faithfully attend rehearsals and all scheduled performances.  Exceptions include illness or absence due to an unforeseen circumstance.
  2. Choir members must be punctual to rehearsals and performances.
  3. Self discipline must be practiced during rehearsals and performances.  Poor behavior hinders the positive experience of the choir for others.
  4. Choir members are to give their full attention to the director or anyone addressing the choir.
  5. Choir members are to treat one another and adults kindly and with respect.
  6. Choir members are to enthusiastically participate in rehearsals and performances.
